Our History

Help One Another Canada Foundation (HOA) is an international Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Alberta, Canada whose mission is to eradicate barriers to success by strengthening global education and entrepreneurship. HOA envisions a poverty-free world where children access a decent education and families achieve their self-sufficiency. We firmly believe that education, employment, and entrepreneurship are key to overcoming poverty.

At its inception back in 2009, Help One Another Canada operated international educational and economic empowerment projects in Burundi in Africa. The charity focus was to support underprivileged children access a decent education and finance projects that allowed less privileged women and families create jobs and generate income. Many kids sponsored by Help One Another Canada Foundation graduated trade schools, High School and University. Their touching testimonies can be read here.
In 2016, Help One Another Canada Foundation expanded to Alberta to provide to empower newcomers and immigrants successfully integrate in Alberta through education, employment and entrepreneurship.
Help One Another Canada Foundation (HOA) has the charitable status granted by the Canada Revenue Agency to registered charity and issues tax receipts to our donors.
