Help One Another Canada Foundation also referred to as “HOA” is a registered charity based in Alberta, Canada whose mission is to eradicate barriers to success by strengthening education, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities. Working together towards an empowered poverty-free world is HOA’ vision. HOA is committed to collaborating with other stakeholders to create a diverse, equitable and inclusive world we where youth and their families can achieve their full potential through a fair access to resources and opportunities. AT HOA, our firm belief is that education, employment, and entrepreneurship are key to success regardless of the part of the world youth and their families live in.
At its inception in 2009, HOA (formerly Dufashanye Canada Foundation until its name amendment in June 2014) operated international educational and economic empowerment projects in Burundi, Africa. The charity’s focus was to help underprivileged children access a decent education and finance projects that allowed less privileged women and families create jobs and generate income. In 2016, HOA widened its focus to Alberta to empower newcomers and immigrants to successfully integrate in Alberta and in Canada through education, employment, and entrepreneurship.
HOA’s purposes have been amended to focus on empowering underserved youth and their families through education, employment, and entrepreneurship. Contact:
