Born and raised in Québec and New Brunswick, Andre developed an early interest in business through his family’s tourism enterprise. He studied International Relations and Strategic Studies at Université Laval and the University of Ottawa, with a focus on international trade.
Andre began his career with Canada’s Foreign Affairs and International Trade (Global Affairs), contributing to early work on the Free Trade Agreement and the initial stages of NAFTA. He later founded a consulting firm supporting small and medium-sized businesses in international markets and held leadership roles in economic and community development at local, regional, and provincial levels across Québec and Canada.
His experience includes launching and managing industrial parks and business incubators in Canada and internationally, building economic development organizations in Northern communities, and teaching entrepreneurship and business communications. Now based in Edmonton, Andre continues consulting in strategic planning, economic development, export planning, and communications. A founding volunteer of Help One Another Canada, he remains committed to supporting the organization’s growth and impact.
